What is Chiropractic?
Chiropractic is a hands on therapy aimed at correcting the source of musculoskeletal problems.
What are the benefits of Chiropractic Care?
Regular chiropractic care has a number of health benefits. These include spinal and extremity pain relief, headache relief, increased mobility and range of motion, decreased stiffness and muscular spasms, arthritic joint pain relief, increased joint health, increased performance and energy, increased sense of well being and relaxation, increased balance and coordination, reduced degeneration and risk of injury, enhanced tissue healing and decreased tissue inflammation.
What should you expect on your first visit?
To insure your first visit with us is a pleasant one, here are the procedures you can expect.
Chiropractic Consultation - You will begin by completing a questionnaire that will help us to get to know you better. Following the completion of the questionnaire you'll meet the Doctor, who will review your health history and determine if yours is a chiropractic case.
Examination - If your case is deemed a chiropractic case, standard physical, orthopedic, neurological and chiropractic tests will be performed to determine the cause(s) of your problem. At this point the Doctor will inform you if further diagnostic imaging is necessary. Views may be taken to visualize the location of any spinal problems, reveal any pathology and make your chiropractic care more precise. Your first visit is now complete.
Report of Findings - Once all the information and examinations have been performed, the doctor will give you a report of findings, as well as his recommendations for treatment.
